Payment Policy & Important Info
Payment policy: At least 50% of the total contract amount must be paid at pick up. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, Cash, Wire Transfer or Direct deposit (NO AMEX). Upon delivery day, cash or credit card will be accepted. If you wish to pay your balance by Wire transfer or Direct deposit, payment must be arranged with our office prior to your delivery date and during our business hours. Balance must be paid in full prior to unloading of shipment. If billed, full payment must be received prior to delivery. Storage charges can be paid by credit card only.
Assembly / disassembly guidelines: When necessary WE WILL disassemble & reassemble simple standard household items like desks, table tops, tv stands, furniture legs, beds/bed frames/bed canopies, wall units, tables, futons, dresser mirrors, shelves, lamps, etc. WE DO NOT disassemble & reassemble baby cribs, exercise machines, pool tables, complex metal racks, complex wall units, bunk beds, trampolines, jungle gyms, complex shelving units, window a/c units, etc. We do not disconnect or connect water/gas pipes, track lighting, lighting fixtures or electricity wires. For items requiring special set of skills (grand pianos, pool tables, etc.) it is the customer's responsibility to arrange for a specialty company to disassemble and have them ready to be transported. PARTICLE BOARD ITEMS - these items tend not to withstand long distance trips, we will disassemble basic items upon client request, but will not re-assemble or be liable for damages to such items. Note that we only reassemble items we originally disassembled.
Dis-assembly of TV wall mounts, & washers/dryers: It is the customer's responsibility to disassemble and remove wall mounted TV's and mounts. Washers/dryers water hoses and dryer vents must be disconnected prior to pick up. In case our help is required on move day we will do so, but we will not be held responsible for damages to items or property.
Drawers, dressers & cabinets: Drawers, dressers & cabinets should be emptied to prevent furniture damage due to stress of weight.
Floors / walls / Elevator protection: Please notify us in advance of any special needs for flooring & wall protection so our crew can work without potentially damaging the premises. As for elevators, please have your building protect it prior to our arrival. CNYX will not be held responsible for any damage that occurs out of the customer failing to alert us in advance of any special needs. Floor/wall claim compensation will be assessed per specific dent or scratch. No full floor/wall repair or replacement (single room or more) will be covered.
