No. Eventually, you only pay for the actual items we pick up on move day. The estimate is based on the items you have listed at the time of reserving. You can, and should update your inventory list as many times as you need, until it reflects your actual inventory.
14. Why volume is better than weight as a move pricing method?
A. When given an estimate, volume can be seen by the eye and be measured on the spot, you simply see the furniture, but weight cannot be seen and measured on the spot. B. All estimates are done in volume because this is the most accurate way to estimate - the weight based quotes multiply the volume by 7 to provide a price. C. Volume based quote are finalized at pick up - weight based quotes can be weighed (and re-weighted) even at delivery end. D. In general if client has lots of small and heavy items the CF system will be better. E. Client has more control of final price by condensing, disassembling and packing - the volume will decrease but the weight will stay the same. F. Regardless of the system - always be sure to get an accurate list of items, our quote guarantees a not to exceed amount for that list. (removing any concern of increase in volume or in weight).
