I was nervous because of some of the other reviews but i did my homework, got a great price for the move and went with MoveEast. Their Relocation Coordinator, David S in CA helped me out the whole process from start to finish and answered all my questions. I'm grateful he continued to followed up with me to keep us on the timeline I told him we needed to adhere to. Getting insurance for everything is a whole other process and something you need to do your homework on. I was scared because it was such a great price that something would get damaged but , thankfully, we didn't need to claim anything as the movers delivered everything where it needed to be, when it was arranged to be delivered and assisted with the reassembly of all the furniture they took apart.
The moving crew were professional and fast, they were organized and gave me a complete inventory of all the items upon completion (at the time of pick-up). Again, I had half the stuff going to one location and the other half going to another location so it was stressful. I'm very pleased I made the choice to go with these guys.
Another tip I would say is: It's cheaper to go by the boxes, tape and packing stuff from HomeDepot or Lowes than to have their guys come and do it all for you then charge you. That being said, I wouldn't have known how many boxes i needed for the artworks so I'm glad they were prepared and had the boxes and packing material needed.

They own and operate every part of the move and don't use brokers so
you can trust their quotes and they are very meticulous about
inventory so not one item is lost and they are very punctual and
great at communicating. the movers are also great! love this

They were by far the lowest quote I got in 2021 - I had a very good
experience, and in particular I was very happy with the free month's
storage they offered. So I went with them again this year. Pre-move
process was smooth. I worked with Josh both times and he's
incredibly responsive. The moves themselves were very efficient and
team foremen were friendly. My NYC team drew me into a heated debate
they were having on Prince vs MJ. I would reco their team and use
them again. A cross country move is hard on furniture - there were a
few small dings here and there but nothing serious. (If you have
anything super valuable I honestly would suggest packing it yourself
or being very attentive during the move - regardless of moving co.)

This company did not double talked me, try to get a very accurate
estimate of what I was shipping, send me a bunch of material to
review so that I could clearly understand what was included and what
wasn't. My stuff was picked and delivered with no fuss on the agreed
date. I kept getting updates of where my stuff was and got delivered
exactly when they said it would.I would recommend

I moved from LA to NY with a studio sized apartment worth of stuff.
My quote with PODs was $3750. With CA-NY express, I paid right
around $3000 and this included packing/unpacking service at both
ends (I had to box my own belongings but they packed and unpacked
all of my furniture, mirrors, TV, etc.) and included load in and
load out. $150 extra to go up 3 narrow flights of stairs in
Manhattan. Totally worth it!
