Packing Service
Packing services are additional, premium services, offered by many moving companies. Packing services provide you with the option of having all of your household possessions packed before the move.

The cost refers to the cost of packing the amount of household items as specified by estimate. The costs vary and are usually being determined by the amount of packing supplies used and the duration of the task.

Peak Season Rates
A premium rate that is charged at certain times of the year. This rate is generally applied during the summer, when the moving industry is busier due to a larger amount of moves. Some companies charge these kind of rates for jobs, taking place during weekends.

Piano
This specifies the additional cost to move a single 42 inch piano as part of the total household. This is not the cost to move the piano if the piano is the only item being moved.

There are different rates for different pianos. For example moving a grand piano is more expensive than a baby grand piano or an upright piano.

Pickup and Delivery Charges
This is an additional charge that is applied when you have to transport your shipment between a storage facility warehouse and your residence. Depending on the type of the move, this charge may be determined by an hourly rate or a flat rate.

Price
This is the term associated with the total price of the move. In a moving quote the price refers to how much the specific move will cost, not including the various extra charges and insurance. All cost estimates are calculated based on information obtained during a signup interview or an in-home estimate.

On your bill of lading, this price refers to the total price due.
