Elevator Carry
Elevator carry is a term often used to describe the charge paid by a customer to the moving company for the additional labor required to move a shipment using an elevator.

Estimate
A professional assessment for the cost of moving services. An estimate is based on the volume of your household goods, packing services, and other factors such as distance from the truck to your house, number of stairs flights, etc.

Expedited Service
This is an agreement to transport your household goods on a specified date. An expedited service usually requires an additional fee or a higher rate.

Extra Stop (Extra Pickup or Extra Delivery)
A term used to describe additional charges paid to your mover in case that you need the him to make an extra stop at either origin or destination. An extra stop is referred to another pick up or delivery stop. The charge is determined by standard tariffs and should appear on your quote and bill of lading.
